Ethan has had a good few weeks. When he came up from the cath lab he was in complete heart block, which is pretty uncommon. He stayed in complete block for 10 days. He was fairly happy during this time, just a little more sleepy and not quite himself. Once his rhythm returned to normal he felt much better. He continued to have episodes of heart block every few days so the team decided that a pacemaker is necessary. He will go to the OR on Monday afternoon. While this isnt as involved as some of his other surgeries they still have to open his chest. We appreciate prayers for a safe, successful surgery on Monday!
