Every 5th or 6th post in my FB feed is about a police officer using excessive - or worse, lethal - force against an unarmed individual; or someone with the equivalent of a Swiss Army knife. Seriously, wtf is going on?? And for those who say resisting arrest is the reason, police officers have LOTS of ways they can defuse a situation - be it verbally, the use of pepper spray, effective (but not harmful or deadly) physical restraining, tasering, etc. Outright punching someone in the face? Deadly choke hold? Shooting to kill?? Multiple times?? Get a grip PDs around the country. Or get better officers. The people will not stand for it much longer.
