Every Senate Republican voted in opposition to equal pay for equal work today. Seriously, all of them voted against the Paycheck Fairness Act, which would increase wage transparency and create new measures to help close the gender wage gap. Below is the sign I gave to a female friend to hold at the Moral Monday. Sadly, it will live to protest another day. Nationally, the average for women is 77 cents on the dollar. We cannot give up the fight! Our own worth and that of our sisters is at stake!
