Every few months, I like to include a reminder about the best - TopicsExpress

Every few months, I like to include a reminder about the best ways for us to use our FB pages.... especially those of us who have public walls. Its a good idea to do a double check once in a while... change passwords... get rid of any negative or questionable pages and/or people. Artists and Poets: we do share our work, but Im wondering if perhaps we should do less of this........Maybe just share a pic or two once in a while....there are far too many possibilities of plagiarism.... Yet, This is a contradiction for me..... because when I began this page it was my idea to have all of us share our art in one Gallery. I recently had an International Artist who posted over 30 of his works. He chatted with me to some extent that It was fine for me to print/show his work as part of my permanent collection. He even went so far as to include an artists statement. Today , he is off line.. and Ive no access. to his page. I had already printed out 6 pieces, so His work will be shown at the Gallery Event, as I wholly have his permission. His drawings were some of the most heartfelt and amazing works.... He was getting many shares and likes...... I wonder if he decided he didnt want all his art out there, afterall.........? Unless I hear back from him to not display it, you will see the art of Anupam Majee, Calcutta, India on July 19th... As administrator of ARTEXCHANGE for over 2 years, I have come to realize it is best to keep our ORGANIZATIONS as professional and businesslike as possible. ARTEXCHANGE has helped many people, including myself, become acquainted with other artists all over the world. I make every effort to monitor members, and check everyones timelines (as best as I can) to ensure a safe site. This is one of the reasons why I try to keep the number of people on both my personal page and art page to a minimum. Facebook can be a wonderful support network, when used properly! My own group has really helped me through some very difficult years. ARTEXCHANGE is an organization dedicated to Love and Healing through ART. Joanne Monyelle
