Every now & again, a band with a solid following will disappear from the public eye, nearly inexplicably, while their fan base is left to simply ask Where are they?. Some of the bands never return, having virtually vanished off the face of the other. Other bands like Blindside make a return. And they make an album. I had heard several singles from Blindside over time & been drawn into their alt.metal/emo sound during my late high school years, but I was too late - they had already begun their unannounced hiatus. Nevertheless, when they made their return, I was excited to hear what things they could do then. Thus far, I only have this one album by them (but if someone wants to hook me up with a copy of Silence or About a Burning Fire, that could change.... ;) ) but Im glad I have at least this one.
