Every once in a while Ill get a message regarding chemtrails. If you havent heard the term, its what conspiracy folks think jet contrails are. They believe - inaccurately, that the government is involved in a massive cover-up, using planes to disperse chemicals across the land to poison all of us. Hogwash. Heres why: - Contrails have been around since jets started flying. There are more contrails today because there are more planes. - Contrails take on different sizes, shapes and fade away at different times depending on weather conditions in the upper levels of the atmosphere where planes fly. Although not common, contrails can also be produced at or near the ground, depending on weather conditions. - Theres no chance every single commercial pilot, flight crew, airline employee, government employee and meteorologist could keep a secret like that. No chance. At all. - Our government is a relatively well-oiled machine, but I have zero confidence that every administration for the past 50 years or so could pull something like this off. - If this were true, these same villains would also be poisoning themselves and their families. - Why would they do this in the first place? Why dispense with your citizens? - Even if they did, there have to be dozens of better, more effective ways to accomplish this. I hesitated to write this, as Im sure some of these conspiracy theorists mean well, but this urban myth seems to be continuing, which is such a disservice to rational folks who get caught up in the hype or latest video that appears to confirm their suspicions. If you need a conspiracy theory to get excited, focus on aliens or Bigfoot. Both are more likely then chemtrails. If you have a legitimate question, Im all ears. If you are one of the conspiracy folks, save your breath. You will never get me to believe something so ridiculous and I wont allow you to use my FB page for your propaganda. I hope this was helpful.
