Every time I see Joan Rivers I can only think about her attitude while trying to build her Two Ponds development in Bucks County back in the 80s. When the plans for her Hollywood East were denied by the township she tried to secede from the township and form her own Borough, reportedly saying, Damn the public, damn the township supervisors, damn whatever environmental consideration determine the zoning regulations. She might have been funny, she might have been famous, but thats still the first thing that pops into my head every time I hear about her.
