Everybody here: We are all hunters, we all want the same thing if you think about it, a healthy robust deer herd. I know the idea of killing too many does is a controversial subject, and I have made mistakes in trying too hard to get people to agree that changing the doe quotas in certain areas is the way to go. I apologize for that, it is an opinion I have pushed very hard. I have went about it wrong on a few occasions and have hurt my credibility in doing so. I still believe they need lowered, but with some input from some very respectable people, I see how it turns some people off. I want us all to come together here, not argue, and figure out ways to help our herd where it needs helped. There are areas in this state that still have plenty of deer, and for those hunters they dont understand why some of us are concerned. We are all together in this, this is not a page for just trophy hunters, or just meat hunters. This is a page for all hunters, and if we stick together, no matter what good things will happen. Lets stop bickering, and start collaborating together. Im sorry for any of the comments that I made that made the bickering worse. Im new to this, and am learning everyday. Please believe me, I have had nothing but the best intentions from the beginning. I am very passionate about our deer herd, and I let the that passion lead me in the wrong direction. I respect all of you, but I want this to be a clean page. I have very close friends who are in law enforcement, one of whom is a Conservation Officer, and that is why I was so upset yesterday with the absolute disrespect that was shown by a few people towards them. Just please everybody, we are hunters, we are in this together, lets get together and respect each other.
