Everyone- meet Elliot :) Elliot is a 7 year old pure bred chi. His human sister is a good friend of mine from college and due to a very serious illness in the family, they need some help in finding Elliot a new home so that he can be a happy and playful pup again. He currently is staying with extended family in Toronto Canada, but will be coming to Brooklyn, NY shortly. Here is a note from his family about his history and personality. They really would love nothing more than to see their baby happy in a stable home environment. Hes a cuddly and playful dog who would be happy to burrow in blankets all day. He was born in California in 2006 and is pure-bred. His breeder was actually very upset that we didnt choose to train him as a show dog. He is very good with other dogs as he lived with another chihuahua for most of his life and more recently with a sharp-pei. He loves attention and is the best companion. Hes incredibly loyal and loves nothing more than to snuggle. Hes not very much work as he does not require many walks a day and does not eat very much. He does get a little nervous with change, which is why were looking for a more constant home for him. Hes been moved around a lot over the last year and wed like for him to be able to settle into a permanent family so that he can feel comfortable again, as we have been unable to care for him recently due to a serious illness in our family. He has never had any health problems and is completely up to date on all his vaccinations (wed be happy to provide documents from our vet). He is not great with children, but otherwise is very well socialized as he spent time around many people as a puppy. If you think you can provide Elliot with a home, please let me know. Volunteer transport can be arranged.
