Had such a fantastic experience today, being part of the Liberty Train and Rescue, an organization that transports rescue dogs to their foster and/or new families. The way it works is everyone does a ninety minute leg, so dogs can be transported from state to state to reach their new home. We did the Milesburg to Danville leg, transporting four beautiful pups a little farther along on their journey to their new life. And we added another little one to our family today - Nattie - who we adopted from Kim Ray, founder of the wonderful Central Ohio Pomeranian Rescue!
