Everyone has been in a situation where they say, Im in such a bad rut, I dont see how things can get any worse. And they continue to get worse. They then say, I wish things would just go my way already. But what they dont do is keep their eyes on The Lord and ask for Him to guide our path and be with us through our troubling times. We see how The Lord protects us and shields us from evil and wickedness through Joseph. Joseph was hated by his brothers, sought to be killed, sold into slavery and thrown into prison. But he persevered through his trials, by looking up and giving God praise and all the glory. Even when falsely accused, he kept his eyes on God. God will show us all compassion and love if we just call on His name. We may not be made to be a leader/ruler of Egypt, but we can be leaders of our family, friends, or our community. I ask that we all just stop and thank our savior for what He has done and is planning to do in our lives. May God bless us all.
