Everyone is familiar with “Give and ye shall receive”. Also “Love your neighbor as yourself” is very well known. My question (to myself) is, “Can I expect to receive what I myself am not willing to give?” Second question is “If I am not receiving. who I am withholding it from? More questions…. who is my neighbor? Is it the person right next to me regardless of who it is and what their label? If I cannot do that, is it because I don’t love myself? Do we have to share (give) in order to keep the flow going? If I want freedom I must be willing to give freedom, If I want understanding I must first give understanding. To give love I must first be love because I can’t give what I don’t have. If things are not the way I think they should be then there is another ditty, “Ask and ye shall receive”. If I have a pile of mess on my plate what did I order”? If I desired spiritual growth and asked for help just maybe the crap that came was an answer to uproot all of the things in myself that stood in the way. Defects have to surface before they can be acknowledged. “All dead fish will float to the top”. More shall be revealed as we grow spiritually. “ALL things work together for GOOD for those who love God and are called according to His purpose”. Spirituality(spiritual living) ain’t for wimps and wimpetts. It got Jesus nailed.
