Everyone is quick to reference that, there are good cops or not all cops are bad (for the record I agree) but my point from the beginning has been where are these so called Good cops? This is the first statement from any officer that I have seen giving dissent with the actions of the thousands of clips of police brutality, violence and the obvious fear that fuels their responses. If you are in such fear that, in all incidents you feel your life is in jeopardy, you may be in the wrong profession. I guess even the good ones are scared too but its not of minorities its of the other officers. My point being that in the majority of clips there is more than one officer present and no one is ever attempting to diffuse the situation. They are all engaging in the actions of their fellow officers. None of them breakup the initial incidents or pull officers off of individuals after these incidents occur as things begin to go too far. You are the company you keep and the decisions you make, so the case for these anonymous good cops is getting weaker and weaker. Its pointless to be a good cop if you allow the bad ones to commit these offenses without interruption. And if you can stand by and watch, then support that individual it makes you just as bad and/or guilty. You cant be a proponent against child abuse if you stand in the room, allow a child to be abused and go out for drinks with the abuser later that night.
