Everyone should realize that western cattle ranchers who use state or federal land are fighting battles with the government almost everyday. The Hage family in Nevada was harassed and won a big settlement against the BLM but they havent paid a dime. Its a constant battle because the liberals have filled the ranks of the BLM and Forest Service with rabid environmentalists that are constantly looking for excuses to reduce their cattle numbers or to evict them entirely, regardless of whether they have paid their range assessment fees or not. If you are new to this battle you should begin by reading Range magazine. They are an excellent resource for whats happening in western land and water battles.
