Everyone will go somewhere when their life is over. I live with confidence in knowing one day I will sit beside my Father and gaze in wonder at the glories of Heaven. One of these days I will see everything He has promised. I will understand all the questions and all the mysteries that He can’t wait to reveal. I will be reunited with loved ones that have gone before. Until then, I can only imagine. I know that what has been pledged to those who love the Lord is incomprehensible in its magnificence. 1 Corinthians 2:9 - But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But what of all those who have chosen not to believe; who scoff at the Bible and dismiss the idea of the cross? What of those who think they have plenty of time to come to terms with Jesus because right now is not the time. They want to live what they deem is the good life. What of…oh, my heart breaks to think of any who do not know the Savior, because the Bible is very clear. (Jesus speaking to unsaved people at final judgment), ...Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. Matt 25:41 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest, day nor night... Rev 14:11 The saddest thing I can ever imagine is to get to Heaven and be missing a loved one…a child, a mother or father, a brother or sister, an aunt or uncle, a friend. I have failed many times with my family and friends, but I have planted the seed. Everyday I pray that it is cultivated to fruition. The world around us is fulfilling the prophesies in the Bible of the end times. We believers know that; we see it happening. One day soon the trumpet will sound and Jesus will appear through the clouds. I know where I’m going. Do you?
