Elisha and his servant were surrounded by the Syrian army. The servant, trembling with fear, cried out, Alas my master! How shall we do? Elishas answer is profound, but often overlooked. Elisha answered, Fear not: for they that are with us are more than they that be with them. The servants eyes were opened and he saw the invisible army of angels supernaturally assigned to protect them. (See 2 Kings 6:16). Expect the Supernatural. Angels are assigned to you. Never underestimate the attentiveness of your Father. Always remember, Nothing Is Ever As Bad As It First Appears. Your Heavenly Father never takes a day off.
