Expected to play a significant role in Georgia’s defense from the start, Reggie Wilkinso will instead be facing a heavy dose of rehab, apparently. As relayed by Seth Emerson of the Macon Telegraph, the cornerback suffered what’s reportedly a significant and potentially season-ending knee injury.Wilkinson was an early enrollee as part of the Bulldogs’ 2013 recruiting class and participated in spring practice. With starting defensive back Josh Harvey-Clemons set to serve a one-game suspension, the Telegraph writes, “Wilkinson was a prime candidate to start at the nickel-back role, a critical spot against Clemson.”
