Experienced something truly amazing this evening, my grand daughter seemed bored while I was on this forum updating myself about what is coming down the federal and provincial pipes and I not talking about oil at the moment. So stopped what i was doing and she showed me her pow wow dance and we had a full run of her alphabets, her numbers to 20 and she remembered a rhyme i used to sing to her when she was in first year of pre-k, you know the one 1, 2 buckle my shoe, 3, 4 shut the door, ya that one and when you get to 9, 10 you sing start all over again! Xavierra has such a beautiful voice and its time to start those voice lessons. I wish I would have had time to do this with her mother but it was always work, work and more work. Im preparing a lesson plan for her so we stay on schedule and Ive always told her find your dream and never let go. So far she loves her new teacher, her classmates, her school and of course her bus driver. Thank you everyone on Whitecap for being so loving it really touches my heart. I promised her a chocolate cake for her lunch tomorrow but I ran out of my white flour so I tried whole wheat and I had a wee taste from the empty bowl and I cant wait until it is done..hmm whole wheat chocolate cake and now for the chocolate frosting.
