Eye update: Wednesday (July 2) was a bad day for the inflamed eye. It hit its peak of severity. (Photo attatched). Pain, irritation & constant tearing. Thursday (July 3), I wake up, pain free, very minimal irritation and no tearing. Follow up appointment with my newest health care provider, ophthalmologist, Dr. Zanetti. Good news its not the herpes 1 virus (shingles), no dendritic ulcer present. Uncomforting news, still unknown what the cause is. 3 eye swabs done to be sent for cultures. eye swabs are just plain wrong. Nothing pleasant about sterile abrasive q-tips scraping up samples of my eye. I can hardly put eye drops in my own eye without flinching. Now ur gonna come at my eye with a q-tip, 3 times? And touch it. I flinched so much it must have looked seizure like. Anyhow, a turn for the better, it looks better, feels better. Continue on course of eye drops and come back for follow up July 9. Stay tuned.
