FAWE will holding her 9th FAWE General Assembly from Thursday the 14th - Friday the15th of August 2014 at Boma Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. FAWE was established in 1992 by five African Women Ministers of Education: Hon.Dr Fay Chung of Zimbabwe, Hon. Simonede Comarmond of Seychelles, Hon.Paulette Missambo of Gabon, Hon. Alice Tiendrebéogo of Burkina Faso,and the late Hon.Vida Yeboa of Ghana. Since then FAWE has established 35 Chapters in various African Countries in Africa. FAWE- ZIMBABWE was founded in 1998. We are grateful to FAWE for facilitating the participation of one of our bursary beneficiaries Siphetshisiwe Moyo and Dr Fay King Chung- one of the 5 founding members who left this morning to be part of the G.A. Siphetshisiwe acquired a B.SC Honours in Public Administration from the University of Zimbabwe though FAWEs support.
