FB Experts - I just opened a water bill (that covers two months) for $650. After cleaning the poo out of my pants, I tried to figure out whats going on. Any help is appreciated. Heres the scoop. We have an irrigation system that runs three times a week for 30 minutes. Our bill always increases during the summer months, but its usually around $150. Last summer our summer bills were $300 and $400. The bills returned to normal after the system was shut off. When it was turned on this year, the system was tested and showed no signs of leaks. Theres no visible signs of water in the yard where a leak would be. In the house, there arent any running toilets or dripping sinks. The bill states that our water usage is less than our sewer usage. What else could it be? Can I contest it? Im going to lose my mind if we get another bill like this. Any advice??
