Employment Type: Contract Client: Verizon Wireless City: Schaumburg State: Illinois Description: Please ensure candidates meet all of the above requirements. All candidates must be local to the work location. Candidates must have their own transportation. All interviews must be in person. Responsibilities: Responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and activation of new LTE builds and expansion. Verification and testing of eNB translations and neighbor lists in support of LTE eNB activations and expansions. Collecting drive test data in support of shake down testing and optimization of new LTE builds; troubleshooting network performance issues for new build activations; reporting problems to RF and System Performance Engineers. Qualifications: BS in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required 1-3 years of experience in the cellular or telecommunications’ industry. General understanding and or working knowledge in one or more of the following platforms and/or technologies: RF system optimization techniques for Ericsson LTE infrastructure. Test equipment including: DataPro (DPDM), pilot scanners, baseline equipment, spectrum analyzers, and UE data collection. Proficient in office computer applications: Actix/Windcatcher post processing tools, MapInfo, DeLorme, Google Earth, Excel, and Word. Good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
