FB friends...my cousin, Shelly, and her son, Buster, were in a boating accident Saturday and is in need of prayers. .....the kids were on the tube......fell off and while they were circling back to get them Buster somehow managed to get close enough to the boat motor and it sucked him into the propeller.....Shelly saw what was happening and jumped into help get him away and it sucked her into it. Instinctually doing the protecting her young mommy thing and she took a beating. The propeller hit her right side several times...starting at her butt cheek...then hit her two or three times down her thigh and below the knee and severed the fascia muscle. That is what they had to sew back together. It really chewed her leg up. Going to be lots of PT in her future. But, thank God...no arteries were severed and both are alive. This all happened within seconds/minutes before they could get the motor turned off. Scary. They took Buster to Atoka Hospital and lifeflight took her to Plano, TX trauma hospital. Just thanking God they are both ok.
