FCCI takes a step towards a United Community! A special assembly of the Italian Canadian Community Foundation (FCCI) was held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 in the Piccolo Teatro of Montreal’s Leonardo Da Vinci Center after last week’s information session on the Unitas project. The proposed bylaw changes approved unanimously will allow representation of 4 major community organizations on the Foundation’s Board of Fiduciaries. The Unitas project will bring together the following Italian community organizations in order to better be prepared to face challenges effectively and efficiently as well as to mobilize the Italian community: • Canadian-Italian Business and Professional Association • National Congress of Italian-Canadians • Centre Leonardo Da Vinci • Centre culturel de la Petite Italie Casa dItalia La FCCI en route vers une communauté unifiée! Suite à la tenue d’une séance d’information sur le projet Unitas la semaine dernière, une assemblée spéciale de la Fondation Communautaire Canadienne – Italienne (FCCI) a eu lieu mardi 6 mai 2014 dans le Piccolo Teatro du Centre Leonardo da Vinci de Montréal. Les amendements proposés aux statuts et règlements de la Fondation ont été approuvés à l’unanimité et 4 représentants des principales organisations communautaires siégeront désormais au Conseil des fiduciaires de la Fondation. Unitas est un projet visant à unir les efforts des organisations communautaires italiennes suivantes pour mieux relever les défis d’efficacité et d’efficience et mobiliser la communauté italienne : • Canadian-Italian Business and Professional Association • Congrès National des Italo-canadiens • Centre Leonardo Da Vinci • Centre culturel de la Petite Italie Casa dItalia
