FEA ANNUAL CONFERENCE JAN 2015 EXECUTIVE BOARD REPORT (Highlights) Previous conference resolutions 1 we are grateful to report that the extra-ordinary conference was sucessfully held at Nkwene Mission Station on 22/07/2014. 2 Meeting with CWC a & CYC was successfully held to discuss issues of the reporting and we believe that mistakes that were identified in the past shall be addressed. 3 Helemisi Commission of enquiry / Task Team. It comprised of the following members; Mr Sipho Tsabedze, Mr. Fortune Dlamini and Mr. Hezekial Nsibandze. The team was ... given the responsibility to conduct an investigation and come up with a report on the operations of the institution at Helemisi and how the church could benefit from the same. We are delighted that the report shall be presented to this honorable assembly. Pastor fellowship 2014 We were able to sucessfully conduct the Pastors fellowship this year; however, the attendance was not that good and there were no apologies from most of the Pastors that were absent. This is a disheartening act which has to be arrested before it blows the FEA out of proportion... Tenth of tithes We can recall that this matter was resolved some time back, that all FEA Mission stations should submit their tenth of tithes to the general fund. It is disheartening to report that all other Missions Stations have complied with the resolution, it is not the case with Manzini Mission Station... This attitude is not good at all, it tarnishes the good picture everyone has about the mission Station and delays the whole FEA. The following Boards and Committees were elected into office: New Haven Bible College Board, Education Committee, FEA Schools Board. Leadership workshop We are delighted to report that the above activity was sucessfully held at Helemisi. The various leaders of the church according to the department attended the workshop in their numbers... Annual General Meeting Reports. We would like to succinctly mention it and draw the attention of the Conference to the fact that although FEA grows numerically, spiritually and geographically; she is failing co comply with issues of preparing and submitting Conference reports in time... This action compelled Executive Board not to look into the reports as expected. We humbly apologise for that. Pastors resignation. We would like to report that some Pastors within Manzini Mission Station have rendered their resignation from FEA. Their names have been purposely withheld because the matter is still under discussion with them and relevant FEA structures... The attendance in FEA Pastors fellowship The AGM resolved to adjust the duration of the pastors seminar to one day Pastors fellowship because of escalating expenses in conducting our seminars. This move has proved to be futile because the attendance is not improving. This AGM should explore other avenues in order to curb this growing bitter root amongst our Pastors.
