In this interview, he alleges that the federal government has a double standard for the Boko Haram insurgency and that over a thousand people in Borno have died over the last one month. JONATHAN NDA- ISAIAH was there for LEADERSHIP. There have been sustained attack by Boko Haram in Borno State what really is the cause, does it mean the security cannot curtail the situation? It has been very pathetic and disturbing for a nation like Nigeria not to contend a small insurgency like Boko Haram, it is very disappointing and my people are very disappointed and I don’t know the reason behind the lackluster attitude of the military but actually we are really concerned and some people are even skeptical about the attitude of Nigerian security towards this particular issue because now, they are reading something into it which I cannot say now but in a very short while when we confirm certain instances where people became suspicious will be exposed. Can we know the magnitude of casualty that has taken place in Borno State as a result of the insurgence? The level of casualty is over a thousand within the last one month because Bama alone is about a hundred, Kauri is about 200, there is also Gulumba area which has never been reported in the media because that place has not been assessed up till today (Thursday) I am talking since Boko Haram attacked that area and they burnt up to 20 villages in that area because of lack of security coverage, nobody was been able to go and see what has happened at that area but those people who ran away from the area came to Bama and Maiduguri have reported to us that at least 300 people are killed and then almost 20 villages were razed but that one has never been in the media up today.
