FIFA rules on transfer of young players are obsolete and can be decisively challenged. The key aspect omitted by the FIFA regulation is the chronological vs biological age of a young player. The example of the wonder kid, Croatian Alen Halilovic who at the age of 15 was ready to play in professional football and for the national team is conclusive. I agree with the legal experts that FIFA has completely missed this decisive aspect and reality. The rule should only be imposed on cases of abuse and/or irregularities. .
