FILMMAKERS NEED OUR HELP!! Filmmakers are traveling through Oklahoma looking for fracking sites to film and people who have experience or live near fracking sites. Please help them if you have any sites or people to recommend. From: Les Stone [mailto:lesstonephoto@cs] Sent: Tuesday, November 05, 2013 8:06 PM Subject: Fracking film My name is Les Stone. I and my small crew will be shooting a film on fracking from Colorado through Oklahoma and Kansas on our way to Texas between the 11th and the 24th of November, probably coming through Kansas around the 16th on our way to Oklahoma and Texas. Unfortunately we have very little time to cover all this territory, we just got the go ahead and we are trying to beat the weather, but hope to be back next spring and summer. Jon Bowermaster who is ccd above completed a film on Fracking in NY State last year where we are based. This film was called Dear Governor Cuomo. Jon is a well known explorer and film maker with long term connections to the National Geographic Society among others. We are beginning a full length feature on fracking across the USA called temporarily, Dear President Obama. We intend to hit the ground running in Colorado on the 11th and we would appreciate any and all help targeting where to go on our way across Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. We are at this time focusing on a mostly visual mission although we may interview people as we go, but nothing very formal. Additionally any other contacts of people who can point us in the right locations would be greatly appreciated. The sort of visuals we are looking for are working fracking operations, Gas flaring (priority visual) pipelines, any and all visuals of churches, homes, schools, farms, animals, etc. located in proximity to fracking operations where hopefully we can tie them together visually. And also, any environmental damage that can be seen as a result of fracking operations, methane fires, water burning, dead animals, that sort of thing. Ive done quite a bit of shooting across PA in the last three years so I am familiar with the visuals and the issues. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you. All my contacts are below. Les Stone
