FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT – Macarthur area One of the leading organisations in the appliance rental industry has an exciting position available in the Macarthur area. This role reports to the GM and is responsible for day to day management of a small finance team. Key responsibilities include monthly Management Reporting, Administration, Payroll, Cash flow management and staff management. Duties Include: - Taking action for all aspects of financial accounting in the business - Delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly and year-end financial reports - Complete the board reports and biannual reports for financier - Complete forecasting and annual budget process - Oversee payroll function and statutory reporting - Cash flow Forecasting & Management - Assist in the month end close - Profitability Analysis & Reporting of Branches - Pricing Reviews with Stock Controller - Ad hoc duties as required by the GM and directors - Supervision of the Accounting/Administration team Expected Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Flexible, independent, motivated self-starter able to multi-task effectively while interacting with managers & departments; demonstrated ability to work effectively in an environment characterised by constant change, ambiguous data and a fast-paced, deadline-driven culture; able to respond quickly and proactively to new or changed initiatives and to assist others to deal positively and effectively with change. - Degree qualified - Effective communication (verbal, listening and written)and presentation skills - Demonstrated organisational skills with attention to detail, including effective proof-reading skills; able to maintain a high level of accuracy. - Strong application systems experience such as MYOB or similar will be highly desirable. - Display a high level of professionalism in interactions with peers, subordinates and managers. Able and willing to provide valuable input in an appropriate manner across the company. - Demonstrated ability to see the big picture, analyse problems and use sound judgment to make appropriate decisions or recommendations.
