FME AND HUAWEI SEEK WAYS ON ICT DEPLOYMENT ON EDUCATION SERVICES DELIVERY The Federal Ministry of Education and Huawei Technologies Co. Nig Ltd are seeking ways of deploying Information, Communication Technology (ICT) in the delivery of education services at the Federal Government Colleges, and possibly other Federal education institutions. To this end, Huauwei Technologies Co. Ltd has made a presentation to the Supervising Minister of Education, Chief (Barr) Ezenwo Nysom Wike, on its capacity to provide the requisite ICT equipment for that purpose. The Minister, represented the Permanent Secretary, Dr. MacJohn Nwoabiala, expressed satisfaction on the readiness of the Company to partner with the Ministry with a view to enriching education services delivery in the country. He, however, said that there is need for a technical team comprising the Ministry official and staff of Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, to meet and discuss in detail the proposal and an implementable framework. Ms Ellen (Zhenji) Liu, Sales Director, Abuja Office, said that the presentation was to seek ways to partner with the Ministry towards boosting education services delivery, using ICT.
