FOOD FOR THOUGHT 1. It is cardinal to remind you friends on issues that continue to affect us most. Fundamentally our attitude towards life must change. 2. People must work extremely hard in order to perform very well in every aspect of life. This involves especially, learning to manage our time. The majority of us regrettably do not seem to understand the value of time which is a perishable commodity. It expires and we follow suit. At the end of the day, individually, one must account for the time spent on this planet. 3. Hard work involves personal, individual discipline among other things. We must understand that it is everyone’s duty and responsibility to show ones willingness and readiness to grab every opportunity. 4. In ever community you will find such personalities; rumour-mongers, blackmailers, hypocrites, thieves, liars, opportunists, crass fools, materialists, witches, and many other similar characters. Sometimes such characters target us and manipulate us to advance their personal whims. Such characters must be condemned because they are dangerous to our community. 5. It is crucial that the concept of modernization be interpreted correctly. Very often those who preach it are themselves either already antiquated or even moribund. Modernization must begin with individuals being sincere at the highest level and percolate to the lowest. It must be consciously planned. Human, material and monetary resources must be organized for the good of all. We must prepare and equip ourselves with the necessary skills and knowledge to face a world that has increasingly become extremely demanding and hostile. 6. It is necessary that we understand our calling in every aspect of life as we aim to pass to higher levels elsewhere. Individually we must continuously evaluate time here and remember the law of self-preservation and personal survival. This business of praising ourselves in what has been accomplished so far shall remain hollow if we cannot explore few opportunities available to us now. “If you give false praise to others in order to get what you want, you are only setting a trap for yourself.” Proverbs. 29:5 GOD BLESS YOU MY DEARS
