And Pocahontas - born Matoaka, known as Amonute was a Virginia Indian- the daughter of Powhatan and she saved the life of Captain John Smith & when she married John Rolf she became the 1st recorded interracial marriage in North American History & the 1st Indian to convert to Christianity. Our Flag/ Banner flies high and was made a Century later- and the Stars were at one time on our Flag as of the Star of David.
