****FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED!*** PLEASE PRIVATE MESSAGE US IF YOU CAN HELP MAGNUM! (Please no derogatory comments, only helpful ones) From Magnum’s current owners: “We rescued Magnum from a rescue about a year ago. We have discovered that he has had an injury on the lower end of his spine causing him to be incontinent to an extent (after $400 in X-rays). He has never peed in the house, but poops in the house a few times a week, usually in his sleep. Although its always firm and easy to clean up, its not sanitary for our toddler who likes to lay down with him (or us for that matter). We contacted the rescue we adopted him from and they told us our only option would be to euthanize him as hes not adoptable so they wont take him back. The local rescue here in Alliance has refused to help us on both occasions that Ive contacted them. My parents live in Enid and my mother has been asking around and the local SPCA where she volunteers on occasion suggested I get in touch with you because he really needs a warmer climate where he can be more of an outside dog. Magnum does wonderful with our 3 year old and any other children weve had over. He lets her crawl all over him and if he gets tired of it he just gets up and moves. We dont have cats, but he seems to be indifferent to the ones that occasionally come in our yard. He gets along well with my mothers small dogs and doesnt seem too interested in other dogs when we are on walks. A friend of mine that watches him while we are on vacation lives on a small farm and he does well with their livestock (horses, goats, chickens, cats, pigs, etc).”
