FQ and prayer request: Hi Mommas! Im currently 26 weeks 3 days and have been in the hospital since Thursday with sudden pre-eclampsia. I had my 24 week appointment two weeks ago and was considered a completely normal, low risk pregnancy, and it was only after doing some research online and taking my blood pressure at a local drug store that I called my OB and came in for tests. After urine tests, labs and emergency ultrasounds we discovered that Im borderline severe pre-eclampsia and our sweet girl is a little small, although I can hear her heartbeat thumping right along on the monitor big and strong. Ive had 2 sets of rounds of steroids to help boost her lung development, as well as magnesium should she need to be delivered in the upcoming days via c-section. Although theyve told me Im in the hospital on bed rest until she arrives, I am praying to be able to keep her inside until at least 32 weeks where Im determined to be well enough for a vaginal delivery. Pre-eclampsia is no laughing matter and I understand every day is a waiting game to see if I get more sick. Im just looking for prayers and positive stories from fellow Mommys who may have experienced slomething similar. Pleasd help lift this worried, but optimist, Mommas spirits. ~5
