FRAN KENDALL - long time subscriber of Ensemble Theatre wrote yesterday: We celebrated my 75th birthday today by seeing Cruise Control at the 11 am matinee. Couldnt have been more apt for us since weve been fortunate enough to sail on that beautiful ship 3 times and will do so again in October. As usual, the play was faultless - brilliant acting/direction, superb wardrobe and wonderful Williamson dialogue. Hes always been an actors director. Ive directed quite a few of his plays and am a real fan. A privilege to see very familiar actors perform so well and ones that were new to us as well. If you can, you may like to tell Helen that my sisters granddaughter Elise Colla played with her in Wicked. Your productions never disappoint and are well worth the trip down from the Central Coast. Thanks for the best birthday Ive ever had! Thanks Fran, glad you enjoyed the production so much, and Chookas to the cast for opening night TONIGHT!
