Oxfam Home on Francis Street sells furniture, home fittings and all sort of other products. It is run by volunteers. The line-up on Friday is: Cat Dowling, Monsenior, HAWK. This is a fundraiser gig in aid of Oxfam, so an (unspecified) donation is expected at the door. Members bring along their telescopes and share the wonders of the night-sky with you. Admission is free. This event happens regularly on a Friday, but in March there are two nights of star gazing on Friday 07 March and Saturday 08 March. The Friday event is the normal monthly observing night. The Saturday event is the Irish Astronomical Societys participation in ISAN 7, the Seventh International Sidewalk Astronomy Night. This year ISAN is specially dedicated to the memory of John Dobson (1915-2014) who started the idea of Sidewalk Astronomy in San Francisco. The idea spread to amateur astronomical societies around the world.
