FRIDAY IN SOUTH JERSEY: ONE FINAL SHOT OF COLD, BEFORE A LONGER-LIVED WARMUP LATER IN THE WEEKEND We had a one-day respite from the cold on Thursday, with a high of 51 degrees. But we take a step back on Friday, with the last cold shot in a series of them this week. Plenty of sunshine, a cold and brisk breeze, you know the drill... Mostly sunny skies for your Friday as you wrap up your work and school week, with highs in them mid 30s. A brisk northwest wind at 15-25mph will keep wind chills below freezing much of the day. Another one of those good looking but not necessarily good feeling days. As winds diminish Friday night and skies remain clear, thats the recipe for a cold overnight. Lows dip into the upper teens in the Pinelands, 20-25 along the shore and lower cape.
