FRIDAY NIGHT - Promotional video shoot for a friend at Red Dwarf Studios in Sewell. You can drop in if youd like. SATURDAY NIGHT - Ill playing drums and percussion for KATHY LYNCH when she hosts her first-ever OPEN MIC at DR LOUs PLACE in Roebling NJ. Laying down the bass will be some fly-by-night guy named FRAN SMITH JR (j/k about the fly-by-night thing). A bunch of our fellow musicians are planning to attend, so it should be a great night. Ill also be available to play drums (or whatever else you need) for any other performers. 9pm-1am For my friends in the northern latitudes, my often stage-partners RUSTY AND JAN will be appearing at EVERYTHING GOES CAFE on Bay St (off Victory Blvd) in Staten Island. They will be a part of a showcase sponsored by the Staten Island Acoustic Music Society (SIAMS). The theme of the evening will be Country and Bluegrass songs. If I wasnt in Roebling on Saturday night, Id be back home on Staten Island, spankin that cajon. No cover charge for either event. NEXT FRIDAY - MARC LANCASTER and I will be laying down the awesomeness at Harbor Point in Essington PA. Ill re-post that event next week. AND on January 31st, Marc and I will be opening the festivities upstairs at THE LEGENDARY DOBBS, now under new ownership.
