FRIDAY was a GREAT day for Susan and I. We took a day trip and the weather was just beautiful! Our first stop was Falls Mill Tenn. and many of you know my dad released a painting he did in 1981 of Falls Mill and I had a chance to see his work still displayed there. Its a great historic (and affordable) stop and we enjoyed a revisit. Then we drove over to Bell Buckle Tenn. (first visit for both of us) its a really small town BUT...the drive there is BEAUTIFUL! When we arrived we had always heard about the Bell Buckle Café so we had lunch there and man it was sooo good! Most of the foods there are homemade and WHAT an experience! The town is all antique shops and Old General stores (the big thing there is RC Cola and Moon Pies) it was worth the trip...we ENJOYED it so much!!! From there we stopped at a few antique shops in Manchester and after that we stopped at Jim Olivers Smoke House on Monteagle Mnt. to browse the shop and have a small dinner and the live bands they had last night. That was a LOT of fun! The live bands they have are from Nashville and most of them are really good!!! Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE music so Susan and I both really enjoyed this!! It was a GREAT day and we had such a good time and you know (if you can) ITS ALWAYS GOOD TO GET AWAY FOR A WHILE) Those day trips seem to really help!!!
