Ive really wrestled with whether or not I should share this news with everyone in Facebook land, because I know that not everyone out there will be supportive. However, I have decided that whether or not you support us shouldnt be a determining factor in our decision. Last Monday, Matthew and I attended an audition for AMTC (Actors, Models, and Talent for Christ). It went very well, and we got a call back, so we went back last Tuesday. We were offered a spot in the AMTC family. We will train with modeling, acting, and singing coaches, we will attend a few workshops, all in preparation for the final event: Shine. Shine will take place in December of 2015- January of 2016. There will be over 75 representation companies, 30 of which will be music representation companies. We, along with other attendants from across the world, will perform for them several times throughout the week, and they could potentially choose to offer us representation, whether in the form of a record deal or by providing us with an agent. Even if we arent chosen, we will be able to speak with the representatives to see what they were looking for and tell them about ourselves, and they could still potentially offer us representation! Not everyone is supportive of AMTC, and not everyone has had good experiences with it. You have to put work into it in order to succeed with the program, and we are more than willing. Yes, there is a tuition to pay for the training sessions we will receive and to pay the companies for sending their representatives to the event (otherwise no one would come, unfortunately). We are really relying on God and our supporters to help provide, because we can receive donations and fundraise to help pay for the program. If you would be interested in helping us out in any way, please private message me and I can give you details on how to do so. Like I said, I know not everyone believes in AMTCs program, but we do, and we are embarking on this journey with or without your blessings; God has lead us in this direction. Much prayer has gone into this, and I believe this is a path He wants us to take. So, you dont have to be supportive, but please dont put-down our decision.
