FROM MY INBOX - Hi Emmanuel . I recall that last week I revealed that I go to bed at a certain time and I normally do so with the lights off and the television volume low. This is acceptable, right? Of course it is. I also revealed that my husband annoys me because he will get in bed after me, turn the lights back on, turn the television up, utilize his iPad, and/or read a newspaper all while I am trying to sleep. I have expressed to him several times to not do this because it breaks my rest and it is extremely rude. Last Friday, he did it again and I lost it. I jumped up out of bed and basically told him that I would appreciate it if he would use either our guest room or his office to sleep in until he got his bedroom tact and etiquette properly together. I told him that he was inconsiderate and lacked manners. Since then, he has been sleeping in our guest bedroom, which I am ecstatic about, but he has not said a word to me since I asked him to leave our room. I did not know that his inconsideration and my asking him to sleep elsewhere would create his silent treatment. Husband or not, I do not pacify nor do I kiss ass. I have tried to speak with him regarding meals, bills, etc. What should I do at this point?
