FROM THE NEWSROOM: (CRN) Operation Fuel wont start accepting applications for assistance from its emergency fuel fund until Dec. 1, but officials with the organization are getting preparations underway. With Operation Fuel expecting to have about $2 million in emergency energy assistance available, Executive Director Patricia Wrice says theyre hoping to help as many people as possible this winter. “Because of limited resources, were looking at people whose income is over 150 percent of poverty up to 60 percent of state median house-hold income,” says Wrice. Despite limited resources, Wrice says Operation Fuel is working on strategies to make sure no one gets left out in the cold this winter. Tune in for the full report.
