FULL TRANSFER UPDATE Wolves boss Kenny Jackett is set to put his stamp on the club quickly – as Adam Hammill’s six-figure sale to Huddersfield went through. Hammill’s move to the Terriers went through last night after he signed a three-year deal. The 25-year-old underwent a medical yesterday and the clubs agreed an undisclosed, six-figure fee, based on some cash up front, some appearance-related money and a sell-on clause. But the head coach remains open-minded on Richard Stearman’s future as the dust settles on the transfer-listing of Roger Johnson, Jamie O’Hara, Karl Henry and Stephen Ward. Crewe’s highly-rated midfielder Luke Murphy, 22, has been heavily linked after a report claimed a fee had been agreed. Talks have been held with Bolton full-back Sam Ricketts and Wolves are one of six clubs due to speak to Burnley striker Martin Paterson, 26, with Birmingham, Charlton, Huddersfield, Ipswich and Middlesbrough. Jackett said: “It’s a new start and we have got to turn players over very quickly. There needs to be changes – some freshness, some youth and a vibrant side. “There are a lot of players who have been here too long. It will be a very different team that comes out on August 3. There are maybe too many players here.” On Ricketts, he said: “I took him out of non-league to Swansea and he’s done very well since. “But it’s unprofessional to comment on players with other clubs. I have my targets, running alongside people going out.” He was similarly tight-lipped on Kevin Phillips – who is yet to start his coaching badges - becoming player-coach. Ipswich are waiting in the wings for Stearman but Jackett said: "I have a completely open mind on Stearman. “I haven’t spoken to him but he’s under contract. I don’t think there have been any bids for him.” Meanwhile, the transfer-listed quartet are set to stay behind when the squad departs to Scotland a week on Monday. Jackett added: “It’s unlikely they will be going.” Sylvan Ebanks-Blake is set to sign for a new club next week, with Crystal Palace his most likely destination.
