FYI--There have been several burglaries & thefts in our area in the last week or two. Many have been from unlocked vehicles. Please secure your vehicles, homes, outbuildings as well as any other property you value. We have had many reports of suspicious persons walking the rural areas also various vehicle descriptions. Most of these people are drug users looking for something to steal so they can get their next fix. Many will ask if they can haul off your scrap, clean your house, do yard work or even clean your carpets. This is just an attempt to see what all you have in and around your home. I cannot stress enough to please lock your property up, put up game cameras, start a neighborhood watch, etc. These are all cheap and easy tactics to combat the problem. Remember these people do not mind taking what you have worked hard for. I ask that you please report any suspicious activity and call 911 if you have an emergency.
