FYI: Out of all Israel, the only group of people who are REQUIRED to prove that they are Jews are those who claim that they are Kohen (Priest). For all others, the burden of proof is on those who doubt such a claim of Jewishness. Here are the facts, that the following link provides: ...DNA studies of the Y chromosome have determined that a majority of self-proclaimed Cohanim (it’s an oral tradition) has a set of genetic markers that trace back approximately three thousand years to a single common ancestor. In other words, if there was no Aaron, there was certainly a High Priest early in the Jewish tradition whose ancestors have retained evidence of that tradition in their DNA. Dont worry, in the meantime, I wink at such a claim. ;)
