Facts about you: Perhaps Holly picked the wrong time to ask, or - TopicsExpress

Facts about you: Perhaps Holly picked the wrong time to ask, or perhaps, this is the best time to ask for the ‘seven’ facts about me which people don’t know: (I can’t highlight anyone, but I expect all who consider this to respond; I have you in my heart.) What was the brief again; oh yes, ‘facts about you’ (then you tag people – three I think). I have given my life up to chaos recently – (or, ever since my sister sang, Que Sera Sera to me as a child perhaps). My first time in Norway I walked into the rail station and barked just like a dog – (they knew what I meant and arranged my travel). Things happen to me. I have developed a system of talking therapy. Thousands of hours of my life were spent being the characters who are gathering dust upon my walls. I like jellied eel. Eel. I don’t know if I love John Prine more than Leonard Cohen or the other way round. Ah, the other way round… We need a sense of where we are from and an echo of belonging to hold us as we travel forward. I am a survivor not a victim! I have released thousands of people from slavery. A voice tells me not to belong. My folk legend is Quentin Crisp. Nations are a figment. Affinity has power. - (For synchronicity, see Jung). I wrote a book of poetry forms and it sits on my PC despite publishers wanting it. I am proud of my sense of culture, but know no boundaries. I look back in wonder on the past (and will do in the future). Happiness comes in bulges. There is a plan I think, but on balance, it pays off well in compensation with graceful moments. I thank my children and grandchildren. Terry Pratchett is of god-like status and the only storyteller better than me. My current hero is my niece; go live, we all could learn from you. T Pratchett is nothing compared to Robbie Williams, nothing. The dark of winter so chills my soul, but I was described as fabulous the other day. I currently live on lamb and gin and wake when I want and sleep when I need. You; fill me with joy; and I wish I could hold that joy in all moments. I have presented a storytelling show in twenty different languages on many occasions. I try to ‘just keep going’ (but I think of my dad a dozen times a day in all the little things I do and all the gigantic things I think). There are people who should be dead. Spend time on bridges and under arches. My kids are the only ones who forgive my terrible, terrible temper; - terrible, but mainly I am only screaming. My most successful relationship is with ‘that guy’, who drives me to distraction, (no really he is bloody hopeless). I am known in the Scandinavian media as a Shakespearian actor, and I have danced professionally. I am never ever sure, ever I say in response to a challenging question, ‘Well there are two of me on this….’ Things are often free (bills, books, travel, clothes; things happen to me). No really, free. Free. I ring my mum almost every day (sometimes twice) and it will never be enough compared to my very wonderful sister. I am very famous wherever I go in York, about three times a year, for around a week each time, (they stare and point). You get what you wish for in life, try asking the universe and you get what you are wanting, (just ask Gramey about the three lesbians). People say to me in the street often, ‘I like you’ or ‘I’ve seen you’ or ‘I don’t like you’. I am broken by challenges, because I don’t really know. Talisman is an English game, not a Norwegian one, not ever, no never, ever! Gramey says I live the life of a king, Dan says, no, two kings. I spend a lot of my life filling in forms. My earliest memory nearly caused my parent to divorce but makes older people laugh when I tell them about it. I have had a mixed relationship with camp coffee. People sometimes say about me, ‘Has he been in our house?!’ or ‘How the hell did you know that?!’ Most of life is spent on promising what I will do and how I will do it – then the day comes!!! I am perhaps a little lost. I am actually a comic-book hero.
