Falcon festival set to start The sixth Qatar International Falcons and Hunting Festival will start tomorrow at Sabkhat Marmi near Sealine, Mesaieed, under the patronage of HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani. The head of the Supreme Organising Committee of the festival, Ali bin Khatim al-Mehshadi, president of Al Gannas Society, said all preparations for the festival have been completed at the venue. Tents and service facilities for spectators have been equipped with all necessary features to ensure their comfort and give people a good opportunity to enjoy the heritage and cultural event. Besides, access roads to the festival’s venue have been prepared and provided with necessary signs to guide visitors. Special festival vehicles will transport those whose cars cannot travel on the sandy terrain. Al Rayyan Satellite Channel will launch a daily programme covering all activities of the festival. The programme will be broadcast every day, from this evening until the conclusion of the festival.
