Family & Friends: I need some serious ideas to help me on a country living issue. I just discovered a very large mouse nest was built on top of the engine in our 2014 Subaru. The mouse was still in residence when I found it but I managed to disassemble his/her humble abode with great gusto. Soon Winter wil be here and our new 2015 Subaru will be housed in my workshop to keep it out of the bitter cold. I plan on making regular inspections of it because of what just happened but I was trying to think of a way I can put something inside the engine compartment to keep those little @$%&$#@ out of there. I cannot use poison of any kind because of my dogs. I know that peppermint, spearmint oils and even moth balls are mouse deterrents but I dont want to smell like any of them or place it on the engine. Short of a few well placed mouse traps laced with peanut butter I am looking for some serious and viable ideas........ PS: I do have traps placed all over my workshop but this only makes a minor dent in the mouse invasion. wildlife-removal/mouserepellent.html
