Fan Share: You know, five years ago I stumbled upon the whole network and chose to not circumcise my baby who was still in tummy at the time. It was a big deal, three brothers before him were circumcised. I had to look at my past decisions, take ownership and I even apologized to my older boys when the topic came up. Ive since finished school and become a Midwife. Just today I sat in my office across from from a very pregnant first time mama, took a breath and said Can we talk about circumcision? Its always a little nerve racking and I say my job is to give you all the information and just support you in your decision ....She was crying when we were done talking and couldnt believe she ever considered it. She proudly and confidently announced she would keep her baby whole, and I got a lump in my throat. Shell be on your website tonight doing the homework I gave her - educating herself about forced retraction and care (and guarding) of her little boys body. I cant thank you enough for all your gentle, factual and non hateful information. Its helped me personally and professionally. Im very proud to be an intactivist now.
