Fate seems to be working overtime to make the November 16 election in Anambra state a straight battle between Chief Willie Obianyo of APGA and Dr. Chris Ngige of APC. The way things are going, the contending candidates of the badly fragmented PDP are going to be patrolling the courtrooms until the election is over, while the Labour Party candidate will be weighed down by the AMCON takeover of his business empire and might not be able to conduct a good campaign. But if you are on ground in Anambra state and not merely a social media political analyst, you will see that Ngige is weighed down by even a greater predicament.
